Demetrious Johnson vying for main event slot at UFC on FOX 8 in Seattle

With the announcement of Seattle, Washington getting the eighth UFC on FOX event, hometown favorite and UFC flyweight champion Demetrious Johnson is looking to get on the card.

According to Johnson he is hoping to, but it will all depend on his rehabilitation.

He is currently under going rehabilitation for a torn labrum. He was expected to face John Moraga at The Ultimate Fighter 17 Finale this April, but the injury forced him to withdraw from that bout.

His rehab is going good and the range of motion is getting better every day.

Johnson will be vying for a headlining spot at UFC on FOX 8 which will take place on July 27 from Seattle’s KeyArena.
