John Dodson vs. Darren Uyenoyama Booked for UFC on Fox 3

UFC officials have wasted no time in announcing a couple match ups for the next UFC on Fox installment. UFC President Dana White announced Tuesday, that UFC on Fox 3 would go down on May 5 at the IZOD Center in New Jersey.

The first match announced was Jim Miller vs. Nate Diaz. Later UFC officials announced that Ultimate Fighter Season 14 bantamweight winner John Dodson would be taking on Darren Uyenoyama.

Dodson (12-5) will get to test his skills in the octagon for the first time since defeating TJ Dillashaw in The Ultimate Fighter Season 14 Finale.

Uyenoyama (7-3) upset Norifumi “Kid” Yamamoto in his UFC debut at UFC on Fox 1 back in November.

Both men formerly fought in the bantamweight division, but this bout will be their debut in the UFC’s new featherweight division.
