MMASucka’s resident TUF 13 blogger Chris Cope released from UFC

|

Chris “C-Murder” Cope who was the resident TUF 13 blogger announced today via his facebook account that he was officially released from the UFC.

I was released from the UFC today. Most people would be down but this might be a blessing in disguised. I have accomplished allot in the last year and I truly know now that if you believe, work hard/smart, have mentor ship, and a positive team anything is possible. One goal down (fight for the UFC). Two more to go! Fight in Japan and win a belt in a big organization. Wooooooooo!!!!!!! 🙂

Cope fought on the Strikeforce: Werdum vs. Fedor card and won via headkick/punches. That fight must have caught the UFC’s attention as he was cast in the 13th installment of The Ultimate Fighter. He was the 10th overall pick and was picked by Brock Lesnar. C-Murder won his first two fights on the show and lost in the semi-finals to Ramsey Nijem. He was brought back to fight in the finale for the season where he beat Chuck O’Neil by Unanimous Decision. Following that win, he lost his next two fights to Che Mills and most recently Matt Brown to ultimately lead to his termination.

We at MMASucka wish Chris the best of luck with his fighting future!
