Lea Young was born and raised in paradise (duh… HAWAI’I!).  MMASucka’s most recent (and only female) contributor has trained muay thai kickboxing since 2004 and within the last year or so, rekindled her love affair with Brazilian jiu jitsu.  Lea has also dabbled in MMA coaching and amateur judging in Hawaii for a little before turning to jiu jitsu completely.  She has recently traveled to Brazil, where she will make her new home(s) at Companhia Paulista in São Paulo and Constrictor Academy in Brasilia, training with UFC veterans Paulo Thiago and Rani Yahya.  During the day, Lea is an adjunct professor of Sociology, financial consultant, and soon-to-be English teacher in Brazil.
